During our Library STEM Special, rotating every 9 weeks: Allstudents get an introduction to computing with hardware and software, followed by concepts of sequencing and loops in coding. All students have an account on Code.org in a secure online classroom where they can conquer lessons including debugging and conditionals, ultimately receiving a certificate! (see class codes below)
In December, everyone coded in our Hour of Code event. We started our coding through links on the Library Symbaloo site, found along the left side of http://kingswoodes.wcpss.net If interested, your child may continue at home in a web browser on a computer, cell phone, iPad, or tablet.
